Yes! We do, and it’s a wonderful way to gauge if we’re all a right fit.

Karen: I have experience training dogs and puppies in regards to basic commands like sit, stay, come, play dead, etc. in addition to walking properly and/or proper manners around other dogs. I’ve also trained dog and human reactivity in foster dogs.

None of our own dogs. Maybe in the future we will!

If we do, are leaning towards black labs, cream goldens, bully mixes, or Boston terriers.

We don’t normally take any clients off leash unless they are bonded to us and that comes after a few stays and after they’ve proven to have good recall – in addition to having the consent of the parent/guardian.

We do, but we always make sure they are compatible and have proper introductions first.

Most dogs we accept are compatible and are naturally good around each other.

If a pet needs their own space for a bit, we have several different areas where one human is always with them, monitoring them. We have a lot of experience with reactivity and different needs so we can gauge things like body language and tolerance. (Example: While Chris works in the office, Homer can sit with him and Bailey can sit with me in the living room while I work. We will gauge body language and tolerance after spending nuetral time around each other.)

We’re flexible, either before or after works for us!

Yes, we send that to you as during the preliminary process!

Yes, we are – however, we would love to do a test if possible and a meet and greet where time allows.

We have years of experience and often develop deep, emotional connections with all the animals. They are our chosen family!

We’ve worked with over 100 dogs so we’ve gained a lot of knowledge about breeds, sizes, tolerances, and behaviors.

We review this on case-by-case basis.

No, as long as we have clear directions and a way to enter.

We usually don’t charge a cancellation as we understand life happens! We’ve accepted same day before.

All dogs using our services should be up to date on their vaccinations. We also strongly recommend your dog is on a flea and tick preventative – especially during the summer months. Dogs must also be free from parasites and infectious illnesses(such as kennel cough). If your dog is unwell, there may be an opportunity for a private walk or bathroom relief but we will not be able to accept them for boarding until fully recovered for the safety of all our clients.

All dogs should have current vaccinations or titers for Rabies, DHPP (distemper, heptatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus). Every cat should have current vaccinations or titers for FVRCP (Feline Virus Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus Infection, Panleukopenia) and Rabies.

We’re here to answer any questions you have!
